Gwen Ifill's response to the blogosphere's reaction to her obvious partisanship

It looks as though Gwen Ifill doesn't seem very shaken by the reaction of the conservative blogosphere's response to her conflict of interest as reported in this AP story by David Bauder.
 
I find the last sentence to be quite telling: 
 
"Do you think they made the same assumptions about Lou Cannon (who is white) when he wrote his book about Reagan?" said Ifill, who is black. Asked if there were racial motives at play, she said, "I don't know what it is. I find it curious."
 
Like my previous post from her interview with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, it appears that she is setting herself up to be totally insulated from criticism.  Now we know.  If she's criticized, racism will be blamed on those who not only do not support Obama, but call her out as a biased hack working in line with the Obama campaign.  This is completely appalling and cynical behavior by a so called professional journalist and the MSM as a whole.  I don't think the Obama tank can get any bigger to support all the MSM.  It's laughable at how the MSM has totally caved in to the Obama religion.  They don't even pretend to hide their bias anymore.  It's an all out assault between the DNC and MSM trying to outflank the Republicans and American people.
 
As a conservative, the only thing I care about is that she is now financially tied to an Obama presidential victory in November so her book sells in January.  If Obama loses, she loses money.  How can she NOT slant the debate more in Biden's favor?  I say keep her on and let Palin smoke her out as only Palin can!  I think now that the cat's out of the bag, it actually puts Palin at an advantage since she, Biden and Ifill all know that there will be a microscope on the whole show with everyone looking for the slightest whiff of bias on Ifill's part.  This will be good!

Gwen Ifill interview in St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Looks like the St. Louis Post-Dispatch has posted an interview with the completely objective non-partisan Gwen Ifill.

The two obvious things stand out:

First:
Q: Won't this somewhat restrictive format demand more artfulness from the moderator?

A: As it happens I'm very artful (laughing).


(Didn't Barak Obama say he was artful as well?)

Second
Q: What do you hope is said about this debate afterward?

A: Just that I was fair, I guess. Even that I can't hope for because people are so polarized.

(She gives herself cover for the inevitable and righteous indignation of those who can see a political hack ready to sell a book about a President Barak Obama.  She is essentially saying, "anyone who questions me after this debate are either complete partisan hacks or maybe even racist?"  Something else to think about is that she may be tipping her hat that she is in the tank (which if obvious anyway) to get Biden a victory in the debate by baiting Palin into uncomfortably and unfairly difficult questioning.  Otherwise, why make the polarized comment?)

If you haven't believed that the the Party of the Donkey (think of the alternative word here for the aforementioned animal) is completely out for itself and NOT the everyday American it pontificates to be, THINK AGAIN!  This party is so corrupt at its core, I honestly think that it's soul is almost irretrievable from the depths of bile it reguritates forth as governing policy.

Barak Obama Truth Squad in Missouri......Just when you thought it was alright to talk out about Obama, think again

According to KMOV TV in St. Louis, law enforcement is joining the Barak Obama Truth Squad to "make sure" no "falsehoods" are relayed in the media market of Missouri under the auspices of Missouri ethics laws.  This "Truth Squad" (which in reality will be a Goon Squad) is made up of high power Missouri Democrats including Jennifer Joyce (St. Louis circuit attorney) and Bob McCollough St. Louis County prosecuting attorney) just to name two.  I wonder where their Gulags are located?  Are they in Missouri?  Are they in Illinois?  Are they overseas where political dissidents (I guess like me pretty soon) are flown in secret OIA (Obama Intelligence Agency) aircraft with tacit overflight rights with Obama approving foreign governments like Russia, Libya, Kenya, Syria, Iran, North Korea, et al.

Dear Rep. Todd Akin

Dear Rep. Akin,

I just wanted to let you know that I'm in complete support of the Republican House stance of blocking the MASSIVE taxpayer bailout of the Democrat enabled and generated failure of the mortgage banking industry. I realize I am not in Washington and don't know the insides and outsides of the "gentleman's" game of politics there, but it would behoove every single Republican Congressman/Senator to go to their local papers/tv/radio stations and major networks and let them all know where this whole thing started. It was in the hands of Democrats each and every step of the way that allowed those not able afford mortgage loans get loans backed up by pseudo-government backed companies of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and those private companies “encouraged” to follow suit for the “greater good” of political correctness. This is the most perfect example of why government is never the solution to a problem and why political correctness is so dangerous to every man, woman and child. It delivers nothing but feelings without any logical resolutions to back it up. Who were in charge of these two entities and the pressure exuded to outside banks who forced the hand of other lenders to lend to those not capable of paying their debts back? DEMOCRATS like ex-Pres. Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Sen. Obama, Dodd, Rep. Frank, etc.... Who ran these companies? No less than Franklin Raines, Tim Johnson, Jamie Gorelick, etc.... ALL part of the elite level of the Democrat Party. 

I realize you know this, but I urge you, from the core of my being, to shout out at the top of your lungs, who is responsible and why NO ONE should trust government to save us from situations like this and how no liberal Democrat should be trusted with the running of the most crucial parts of our GREAT country. 

For full disclosure purposes, I'm not a big fan of Sen. McCain (although I deeply admire him and his service to our country, I disagree with him a lot ideologically) and am a big supporter of Gov. Palin and I will be voting for the ticket this November. I do believe Sen. Obama will do a lot of harm to this country in four short years his presidency would encompass if he is elected, which I believe highly unlikely. 

Rep. Akin, I called you back in 2003 when my wife and I were going through the deep bureaucracy that was INS. I married my lovely wife (from Canada) on March 23, 2002 and she blessed me with our lovely daughter Mirandy on May 31, 2003. You placed a phone call with the agency and miraculously, after months of silence and frustration, we received a letter that all of her paperwork was accepted and she was moved up in the process (as long as we forwarded another several hundred dollars of money, which was alright in my book to get her legal status). Well, six glorious years of marriage later (along with plenty of frustration any government agency gives), she received her citizenship on July 19, 2008 in the Thomas Eagleton building in St. Louis. I had tears in my eyes watching her take her oath, watching my beautiful daughter taking it all in with the best of her manners at the forefront, and seeing the other fifty-plus citizens officially creating a new life for themselves in our Great Country. I have nothing but the greatest of beliefs in this country and despise the fact that some of those in power have bastardized what this country is and represents to the world. We ARE the pinnacle of governance in this world because we give our complete faith and trust in the regular person to lead us. Sometimes we get gold and sometimes we get lead, but at the very core of our beliefs, we give to those who are just like us. And every four years, based on performance, we have the option of voting that person out of office and out of our lives in the hope that the next person in line, one of us, does a better job. We don't bestow power on those who seek to rule with impunity. We don't always make the best decision, but we at least HAVE that decision to make. Not everyone in this world has that and we've had it for the last 200+ years and have NOT lost it. We are a country of proud people. A country of battlers. A country that doesn’t turn its head when one of its allies is in peril. A country whose beacon of freedom’s light shines brightest in the darkest of nights and stormiest of seas to lead those lost to shore and safety. A country of optimists that see a brighter day and better circumstances in tomorrow. A country full of those who will freely and gladly give their lives in the defense of the ideal that this country stands for; “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Rep. Akin, I urge you to continue to fight. If your compatriots in the House and Senate waver, urge them to fight on. This IS the fight of the moment and of a lifetime. A momentous infinitesimally small spot of time where a nation is begging for leadership that says NO to a governmental socialistic takeover of a wholly free and capitalistic enterprise that has been rendered asunder by those elites who use it for their own gain. 

Rep. Akin, I urge you to fight for us. I have my bills, I have my debts and I have my own financial agreements. I wholly intend to adhere to all my promises, as signed by name in contracts, to pay back every debt I incur in whole. Do I always like it, NO. BUT, I have my word and reputation backing up my signature. I hold these things to represent my honor and my being, which in a past time, meant everything and unfortunately for some in this day and age is just a fling of a momentary cavort with responsibility. I, along with over 90% of other Americans, intend to repay my debts without government assistance and with the whole intent of backing my debts with my word and my dollars.

We, the people of the United States, are reliant upon you to fight for us. We can ill afford to lose this battle. We want to bring our government back from the brink of the most evil of our Founding Father’s nightmares, the thought of socialistic personal controls by an overpowered government. We lose this battle; we further the loss of control of our self determination as a people. We lose responsibility. We lose our freedom by sacrificing another brick out of the foundation this country was founded on. We lose our identity as a wholly free nation. The dreams of those who fought and died for us and our freedom become imperiled.

Please fight on for a better solution of lower taxes on all and eliminating wasteful excessive programs our government has created for “our well being”. I firmly believe our best days are ahead of us. Our only way to get to those better days are by solid leadership put forward by you and other brave legislators in our Congress and executive, The President. Please don’t give up.

In the immortal and truly American words of Adm. David Farrugut at the Battle of Mobile Bay, “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!”

The kids will be alright

Based on the story above from ABC News (wretch), I'm very confident that Obama will never get elected strictly because people are catching on that he's a complete empty suit and Americans, except for the virulent left, don't like being preached to and announced to the world that we Americans ought to apologize for just about everything.  He won't make it.

Now, Hillary Clinton never did "officially" announce that she was bowing out of the race.  She just suspended her "official" primary campaigning.  Just to prove how devious and self-centered the Clintons are (Obama still has a lot to learn from the purveyors of bile), it looks as though they're going to potentially call for an open floor vote at the DNC convention for the final choice of the candidate.  This will shatter that party getting to November. 

A lot of Hillary supporters promised NOT to support Obama.  A lot of Obama supporters promised NOT to support Hillary.  We have the potential of an all out civil war breaking out in Denver!  It's gonna be GREAT!!!

Just remember, the Clinton's don't care about anyone but themselves.  If they destroy the Party of the Donkey along the way, so be it.  They are all about power and nothing else. 

Maybe nothing will happen and everything will go smoothly for them, but maybe not.  Either way, just having to address this type of tension and dissatisfaction in the ranks of that party says something about the people involved.  Their platform is corrupt at the core and hence they have these rather trivial things to worry about.  Both sides need to run further to the left, thereby separating themselves of the original intent of this country, in order to get the nomination.  They will do anything to accomplish this.  Obama will flip-flop some more to bring himself back from the brink of moderation, albeit microscopic and dubious in honesty, that he's fiddled with the past several months.  Clinton will do the same. 

Clinton (well, her supporters anyway so she can be insulated) will call DISENFRANCHISEMENT (which, by the way if you look in the dictionary for definition, you'll see a picture of an A.C.O.R.N on a donkey) and it's all because she's a woman and there's a deep seated gender bias ingrained in the process.

Obama (his supporters…well he himself since he is The One, The Savior, The Chosen One…A Newly Improved Holy Trinity contained in a suit and ears) will call RACISM (which, by the way, if you look in the same dictionary as previously mentioned, you'll see a picture of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton & Obama dressed as The Three Stooges) and there's a deep seated messiah bias ingrained in the process.  In this, he might have a point since one of the Democrat party platforms is separation of religion from state.  Just ask the ACLU!  Since he IS The One, they shouldn't be following him.  Right?

Another shot against Obama is that he has made many pronouncements that he's a candidate of change (whatever exists, it needs a-changin') and unity.  Well, if he can't get his own party to unify, how in the holy heck is he going to unite a country (and the world for that matter)?  He has too many fatal flaws in his campaign platforms and personal beliefs to get him elected in November.  And now, even if it's very small, there's at least an outside shot that he won't even make it out of the DNC convention.

I think the kids will be alright.

This is why no one should ever disregard an environut when it comes to discussions about global warming.  They'd prefer to shut up the opposition rather than have a logical discussion about it.  Why, because they can't handle the fact that IT DOESN'T EXIST!
